We help manage your funding so you can get meals sorted from just $2 co-pay, per main meal.
Including our seasonal specials and menus, as well as soft-chew and texture modified meals (levels 4 and 5).
If you know you want meals sorted, we’ll help you get set up quickly and correctly.
You can sign up online or call our team to check eligibility, confirm your NDIS funding, and organise delivery.
If you need a quote for your plan manager, support coordinator, or NDIS records, we can prepare one for you.
You’ll receive a NDIS-compliant quote with ingredient costs separated from meal preparation and delivery, so there’s no confusion during approval or invoicing.
If you’re referring an eligible NDIS participant, submit a referral via our online form, and we’ll take care of eligibility checks and NDIS compliance, keeping you informed along the way.

Able Foods was created to take the guesswork out of healthy eating and remove barriers for NDIS participants.

Meal delivery days depend on your postcode and delivery area. Once you’re set up, we’ll confirm your delivery day and keep it consistent so you always know when to expect your meals.
Yes. Able Foods meals are chef-cooked and then quick-frozen to lock in taste, texture, and nutrients.
Quick-freezing helps preserve flavour and vitamins, gives meals a longer shelf life, and means you can heat meals when it suits you.
Meals are delivered to your home in secure, insulated packaging designed to keep everything frozen and in excellent condition until you’re ready to store them.
Able Foods offers 140+ options, including vegetarian, without wheat, without dairy, without nuts.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible Australians with disability to support independence, daily living, and participation.
This can include NDIS meal preparation and food delivery when it helps reduce barriers to everyday life like cooking and meal planning.
The NDIS funds the cost of meal preparation and delivery, but it does not fund the cost of ingredients.
Your co-payment covers the ingredient component only, which is why main meals start from just $2.
Yes, you pay a small ingredient co-payment, while the cost of meal preparation and delivery is covered through your NDIS funding under Core Supports (Daily Activities).
Able Foods clearly separates ingredient costs from preparation and delivery on every invoice, so there are no hidden costs or surprises.
Yes. Able Foods is a registered NDIS meal provider and meets all requirements of the NDIS Supports List for meal preparation and delivery.
This means we can support plan-managed, agency-managed, and self-managed NDIS participants.
No. There is no lock-in contract.
If your NDIS plan is plan-managed or agency-managed, you’ll sign a Service Agreement to access funding, but it can be cancelled at any time with 7 days’ notice.
If your NDIS plan includes Meal Preparation and Delivery under Core Supports (Daily Activities), you may be eligible.

Able Foods makes invoicing simple and NDIS-friendly.
If you’re self managed: We separately identify the food and ingredient component (the ‘co-payment’) from the meal preparation and delivery components (the subsidised amount).
If you aren’t self managed: We invoice the NDIS (or your plan manager) for meal preparation and delivery, and you only pay the ingredient co-payment, either weekly or fortnightly, depending on what works best for you.
