If your deliveries are impacted and you rely on Able Foods for your daily meals, consider ordering more than usual so that you have enough to last you until your next delivery.

Cut off dates

Please take note that some of our order cut-off dates will be earlier than usual during the holiday period. Our weekly order cut-offs in December are:

  • Wednesday, December 10, 5pm AEDT.
  • Wednesday, December 17, 5pm AEDT.
  • Monday, December 22, 5pm AEDT.
  • Monday, December 29, 5pm AEDT.

The weekly cut-off will return to Wednesdays, 5 PM AEDT from January 7. 2026.

Office closures

Our office will be closed and our phones and inboxes will be unattended on the following dates:

  • December 25, 2025, Thursday
  • December 26, 2025, Friday
  • January 1, 2026, Thursday
  • January 2, 2026, Friday

We will otherwise be open as normal.

Holiday delivery FAQs

The DAY delivery window is between 8am and 6pm. The OVERNIGHT delivery window is between 12am and 7am. 

At 6pm the day before delivery, you will receive an SMS with a tracking link. This link will give you an ETA, and will provide a smaller window on the day of the delivery.

You will also receive an SMS when the driver is near and upon delivery. Once delivered, it will also provide proof of delivery. 

 

The public holidays in December interfere with the usual operating hours of Able Foods and our delivery partner. We’ve updated the order cut-offs to allow us to continue delivering your meals during the holiday period.

Unfortunately, there are a small number of suburbs that we are unable to deliver to during the holiday period. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you rely primarily on Able Foods for your meals, please consider ordering enough to meet your needs until regular deliveries resume in your area on January 8.

Orders placed after the Monday cut-off will be scheduled for the following delivery cycle. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late orders.

If you have a recurring order, we will automatically adjust your delivery day for you based on the holiday delivery schedule for your postcode. The last day to order for regular delivery is on Wednesday, December 10 at 5pm.
