About us
At Able Foods, we believe that everyone deserves the right to a life of independence and joy, and we know how important food is in delivering that.
This means that older Australians, Australians with disabilities, and the care network that supports them have a food partner who always keeps their needs front of mind in every decision.
Our dedicated team understands what it means to create meals that cater to our client’s unique needs. Through years of experience, we also know how to best manage both the NDIS and Aged Care (HCP) processes.
Our menu is specially designed with nutrition guidelines that don’t sacrifice great taste, and our services are delivered with genuine care from a team who are experts in the NDIS and aged care landscape.
It’s our mission to enable healthier, happier and more independent lives for each and every ability.
At Able Foods, we make food with purpose.

Our investors
Able Foods is proudly owned by For Purpose Investment Partners (FPIP). FPIP is a not-for-profit social impact investment manager, bringing private sector capital and capabilities into sizable businesses and projects to create significant social impact.
FPIP acquired Able Foods in December 2022, with a vision of ensuring that Australians living with disability can have greater access to delicious and nutritious food. Central to FPIP’s investment in Able Foods is the values alignment of the Able Foods team in delivering social impact in the communities it operates in. FPIP believes Able Foods’ customer centricity will be a powerful driver of Able Foods’ success into the future.
Since December 2022, the team at FPIP has helped management attract board talent, collaborated with the Able Foods team to design a customer impact survey, and supported the business to expand their meal delivery service into the Home Care Package market.
